We live in a time where fantasy and reality have never been more confused, thanks to the Internet, social media, and AI. The rapid growth in Information Technology (IT) has resulted in the phenomenon of the illusion of knowledge, where individuals have access to a vast amount of information with a click, leading them to believe they have a deep understanding of it. However, their understanding might be naive and incorrect. The Illusion of Knowledge The illusion of knowledge is the idea that we know more than we actually do. We are under the impression that there is unlimited information out there, which has fueled our belief that we know everything because it is all online and accessible at any time.
